...You Do Content Localization By IP Address.

Every time a website is queried, the web browser automatically sends to the server the browser language, which can be configured by the user via the browser settings. The default language is the language of the operating system. It is important to know that the majority of users are not aware that they are able to change the language. Each language typically consists of two parameters: the language itself and the region. Germany uses de-de, i.e., German-Germany, Austria uses de-at, meaning German-Austria, and the US uses en-us.

However, a whole bunch of fucking morons (that's you) who run websites (badly) think that blindly setting localization (meaning interface language because the lukewarm spunk that does this have no idea what other localization is even possible) via IP address and ignoring the explicit instructions from the user via their web browser is a good idea. These people are idiots.

Every business traveler with a laptop is subjected to this idiotic paternalism. Most "solutions vendors" embrace this moronic idea. They are trash. The whole concept is trash. Every last one of you who do localization via IP address instead of browser setting are trash, and I fucking hate you.
